A Structured Approach to Individual Progress.
Tarlona operates from a studio in the 9th arrondissement of Paris. The coaching model centres on structured, evidence-informed methodology — each programme begins with movement screening and body composition assessment before any session plan is drafted.
The studio was established in 2017 by a team of accredited coaches who recognised that generic programmes rarely translate to sustained individual progress. Coaching at Tarlona is built around the individual: their movement patterns, their schedule, their long-term objectives.
Session records, progress check-ins, and training logs are maintained for every individual. Regular review sessions ensure that programming adapts as capacity and goals evolve.
About TarlonaThe Complete Programme.
Six coaching formats are available at Tarlona, each calibrated to different goals, schedules, and movement starting points.
One-to-One Sessions
Individual coaching sessions conducted by a single assigned coach. Programming reflects the individual's movement screening results, fitness baseline, and stated objectives.

to Sustained Progress.
Movement Screening
A structured movement screening captures functional baselines, identifies any compensatory patterns, and establishes the starting point for programme design.
Programme Design
A personalised training plan is drafted, integrating goal-setting framework outputs, assessment data, and preferred session frequency.
Structured Sessions
Coaching sessions follow the agreed programme. Session notes and training logs are updated after every encounter. Load and intensity are adjusted based on observed response.
Review & Adaptation
Monthly progress check-in sessions compare current metrics against baseline data. Programming is revised accordingly, and new objectives are documented.
Precision Does Not Mean Restriction.
Structured programming at Tarlona is not about rigid adherence to a fixed template. The training log exists not to constrain but to record — a body of evidence that informs each subsequent decision. When a programme is performing well, the data reflects it. When adaptation is needed, the data shows that too.
The coaches at Tarlona apply an evidence-informed approach to every aspect of programming: from load assignment and rest intervals to active recovery scheduling and lifestyle coaching inputs. Each factor is considered in relation to the others.
Session review documentation — Tarlona studio, 2026
The initial screening sessions changed how I understood my own movement. The programme that followed was specific in a way that generic gym plans never managed to be.

Frequently Asked.
Every new engagement at Tarlona begins with an initial consultation and movement screening. This session — typically 60 minutes — establishes baseline movement patterns, documents any existing restrictions or past injuries, and captures the individual's goals. The coaching team then drafts a programme structure before the first active session takes place.
One-to-one coaching at Tarlona is typically structured in eight-week blocks to allow meaningful adaptation and assessment. Group classes operate on a rolling monthly schedule. For endurance coaching and specialised conditioning, a minimum twelve-week engagement is recommended to allow for periodisation across a full macrocycle.
Tarlona's primary offering is in-studio coaching at the Paris location. Remote programme delivery is available for individuals who have completed at least one in-person movement screening session. All remote programmes include a training log, a weekly schedule, and a bi-weekly video review session.
A session log is maintained for every individual. This records load, volume, movement notes, and subjective feel ratings. At the four-week and eight-week marks within each block, a formal progress check-in takes place. Clients receive a written summary of findings alongside any proposed programme adjustments.
Tarlona's coaching team operates in both English and French. All written documentation — programme plans, session logs, progress reports — is available in English. Group class instructions are delivered in French with English support available upon request.
Tarlona coaches offer general lifestyle coaching as part of the standard programme, which includes guidance on balanced meal structuring, portion awareness, pre-workout fuelling habits, and post-session recovery nutrition. Specific dietary planning is handled by qualified nutrition professionals working in partnership with the studio.
